What Octagon Is.

Octagon Studios London rents private, professionally soundproofed music production studios on long-term contracts. We are not an hourly studio hire business. Tenants take a permanent base — monthly through 12-month — with their own keyfob, 24/7 access, gigabit internet, and a soundproofed room they can leave their gear in.

The Acoustic Structures Connection.

Every Octagon studio is designed and built by Acoustic Structures, a specialist acoustic construction company. Same ownership; the two businesses share an office and a workshop. This matters for two reasons. First, the build quality is genuinely high — fully isolated constructions with independent walls, floating floors and high-performance broadband absorbers, delivering in excess of 70 dB D_w isolation between studios with energy decay curves that stay smooth down to 30 Hz. Second, when something acoustic goes wrong, the fix is in-house and fast.

The Sites.

Brixton (SW2) is our oldest site, opened in 1998 at 130 Brixton Hill. Thirteen studios, including the original octagonal acoustic live room that the company is named after. Lowest-priced rooms in the network at £400/month.

Earlsfield (SW18) opened more recently at 3 Kimber Road. Nine soundproofed studios across two floors with free parking nearby. Rooms from £800/month, including a 29 sqm premium suite.

Clapham / Nine Elms (SW8) opens in 2026 at Clyston Street. 15+ studios across ~450 sqm on two floors. Founding tenants configure their space — size, layout, finishes, acoustic treatment, connectivity — before completion. From ~£700/month at ~£10 per square foot.
