Where to go

Brixton needs no introduction. It's fair to say our wide community of producers & artists have been drawn South of the river for a reason. Music has always been rife in Brixton with possibly one of the highest density of venues in London. Wether it's a jazz jam at the Efra, Techno at Phonox or your favourite headliner at Brixton academy there's guaranteed to be something happening every night of the week. If anything you may be slightly overwhelmed with the options available to you so to help we've selected some of our favourite jaunts:

Stir Coffee

Our favourite coffee hang out! The chocolate guiness cake is not to be missed! Plus the ‘beer to go’ range is perfect for those late night sessions too. Their coffee plays a strong role in all our sessions.

THe Windmill

A casual 3 minute walk from our front door this is one of the best underground live music venues in London, a true South London landmark.

This place has contributed to breaking such bands as Fat White Family, Black Midi, Sports Team, Shame and Malady to name a few….

 FAQ

  • SW18, Earlsfield. Easy access from Brixton, Clapham, and Tooting.

  • Yes. We offer part time memberships for select rooms. Day rate on part time is higher than full time. Ask on your tour.

  • No. Acoustic drum kits are not permitted in the studios to avoid disturbing other tenants and neighbours. Electronic kits with headphones are fine.

  • Yes, you can bring collaborators or friends, but you are responsible for them. Guests must follow the same studio rules.

  • There is no dedicated parking for studio tenants however there is street parking available outside. The car park can be used for drop-off and loading only.

  • You are free to work at professional levels, but please keep doors closed when monitoring at high volume to maintain the building’s acoustic integrity.

  • All studios include power, heating, ventilation, acoustic treatment, high-speed gigabit internet, secure entry, and building services.

    Furniture, desks and music equipment is not included

  • The building has 24/7 secure entry, CCTV, and individual locks on each studio.

  • Monthly terms are available, but the best value is on 6- or 12-month upfront plans with bonus months included.

  • Yes, you can bring your own furniture and equipment. Permanent alterations (drilling, painting) need approval first.

    No acoustic treatment will be necessary.
