Octagon Studios Brixton is our longest-running site, opened in 1998 with decades of operating history and a tenant community that includes producers, engineers and podcast makers. The building features the original octagonal acoustic live room that gives the company its name, plus thirteen private lockable studios across multiple floors. This is the lowest-priced site in the Octagon network, with rooms from £400/month — making it a route into a professionally soundproofed long-term studio for emerging producers without compromising on construction quality.

Every room at Brixton is built by Acoustic Structures, the specialist acoustic construction company that designs Octagon's facilities. Construction is fully isolated — independent walls, floating floors and high-performance broadband absorbers — delivering in excess of 70 dB D_w isolation between studios with energy decay curves that stay smooth down to 30 Hz. Power, heating, ventilation, gigabit internet, communal kitchen access and CCTV are included in every studio. Acoustic drum kits are not permitted on site.
